With more than 18 years of experience in ophthalmology and refractive surgery, Dr. Sami Imam founded Lasik Plus Day Surgical Center with a clear vision: to combine extensive clinical expertise with the latest advancements in laser vision correction technology and create one of the region’s most advanced centers dedicated to vision correction.

Driven by a passion for innovation and excellence, Dr. Sami pursued advanced training at the renowned Baylor College of Medicine in Texas, USA, where he further developed his expertise in Laser Vision Correction Surgery. His commitment to delivering outstanding visual outcomes has helped thousands of patients achieve greater visual freedom and an improved quality of life.

Dr. Sami is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (Ophthalmology) and a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (London, UK). Throughout his career, he has remained dedicated to advancing the field through continuous education, participation in international conferences, research activities, and collaboration with leading ophthalmic experts worldwide.

He has a particular interest in the treatment of vision problems affecting patients over the age of 40, utilizing the latest technologies and customized refractive solutions to reduce dependence on reading glasses and enhance overall visual performance.

His expertise in PRESBYOND®️ Laser Blended Vision has earned international recognition. Dr. Sami was personally acknowledged by ZEISS and Professor Dan Reinstein, the inventor of PRESBYOND®️, during his visit to Lasik Plus Day Surgical Center. This recognition highlighted Dr. Sami’s extensive experience and outstanding results in PRESBYOND®️ treatments, establishing him as one of the leading refractive surgeons in the region.
